Practical Application of Dam Seepage & Stability Models Mini-Workshop
Join us for an interactive discussion on seepage and stability modeling. What do you need to know as a dam owner when geotechnical modeling is proposed? What should regulatory agency reviewers request as part of a design submittal? What lessons are there from existing models for engineers considering a geotechnical model as a design tool? In this 3.5-hour session the facilitators will lead audience discussions on these and other key topics. We will discuss in depth a seepage model of the City of Butte’s Storm Lake Dam. No previous experience with dam seepage or stability model is required.
PDH’s will be issued for all attendees.
